Spiced Peach Syrup

Recipe from: The Story of Pure Vanilla by the Vanilla Bean Association of America, © 1955.



Combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon each nutmeg and cinnamon, and 1 2/3 cups canned peach juice. Blend well. Simmer until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter.

Makes 1 2/3 cups syrup.
