It
was 2 AM in the morning and I was fast asleep when the phone rang.
It was Dr. Max Lake
calling me from Australia!
Later I learned from Jill
Norman that this legendary literary food figure
was famous for making these middle of
the night phone calls to others around the Earth.
It was flattering that he should
include me in the group that he wanted to personally talk with.
His book here " TASTE " is directed to other
advanced thinkers and is a merging of the
latest ideas from the laboratories of
PHD food chemists mixed with PHD interpreters of man's
highest evolutionary promise.
The writing is an odd unusual sort of lengthly spiritual essay on man
and where his nose and palette might
be taking him.
But only if
he learns how* to
participate.
