Home-made Chocolate Syrup

Recipe from: The Story of Pure Vanilla, rewritten by R.C. Schlotterer.

Mix first three ingredients in saucepan. Add water slowly. Cook over low flame. Stir constantly until smooth, letting boil gently three minutes. Be sure to stir constantly. Add vanilla and cinnamon. Keep in refrigerator for use on cakes, puddings, ice cream, etc.

Makes 2 cups syrup.
